102nd Round of Manuscript Revisions

[jd] 29 October 2007 (holy crap it's almost november)

Some of you may have heard me mention The Manuscript That Won't Die. And by 'die' I mean 'get published', and by 'mention' I mean 'rant and rave'. If you haven't heard about it, you should consider yourself blessed. Anyway, I am wading through another round of reviews at a coffee shop that I went to in an attempt to flee the distractions of the internet. Turns out Bentley's has free wifi. In my short study break I discovered yet again that Mathew Baldwin is much funnier than we are, as evidenced by his expose on Seattle's windstorms.

Possibly fitting for this schmorgisbord blog, I ad this comment:
Last weekend we had a halloween party, the theme of which was "My GOd is Better than Your God".
Although Ivo knew that I was a teen for Jesus and was raised Catholic, I think that he was freaked out when we began decorating and I was pulling out weird Catholic things to put up 'round the house.
Regardless of this, it was Sunday (after the party) that he said "who knew that your voodoo was true."
He was not reffering to the party or Christianity or any of that. He was refferring to the little kitty, cuddling (for the first time) round Ivo's bandaged shin. He'd had a fall on the bike and was reffering to the cat's attraction to his leaky chi. A theory of yours that I told Ivo.
